When and where: 10 Nov 2026, Johannesburg, NH Hotel Sandton
CEM Africa, a customer experience (CX) summit run by VUKA Group, brings its Johannesburg edition to the NH Hotel in Sandton on 10 and 11 November 2026.
The two-day event is built for people working in customer experience, service, marketing and digital roles, from senior leaders to hands-on practitioners and the companies that supply CX technology. Topics include AI and automation, omnichannel service, customer insight, trust, retention and how to prove a measurable return on CX investment. The format combines practical workshops, a strategic conference, peer-led discussions and a showcase of technology providers.
Workshop leaders include people from Dis-Chem, Pick n Pay, Absa, Nedbank and SARS, along with independent CX consultants.
The first evening, 10 November, is also the CEM Africa Awards night at the same hotel. Organisers say more than 80 entries came in, with 31 finalists competing for eight awards in four categories.
The organisers' list of attendee types runs from corporates and government departments to start-ups, small businesses, contact centres and digital marketers, so it may appeal to young professionals building a career in CX. Tickets can be booked through the CEM Africa page on the VUKA Group website, and a Cape Town edition follows from 26 to 28 July 2027.
