The terms for branded merchandise quoted and sold by Hello Brand, through the Brand Merchandise page or a quote request on this website. They add to our website terms, which also apply.

1. Who you are buying from

When these terms apply

To every quote request, quote and order for branded merchandise, together with anything stated on the quote itself. If the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.

2. How ordering works

There is no online payment. You choose products in the store, or tell us what you need through a quote request, and our team checks every line and prices the products, branding, setup and delivery.

  • 1. We send your quote

    After checking stock, branding options and lead times. Your quote states how long it is valid.

  • 2. You approve

    You approve the quote and a digital proof of your artwork. Your order is confirmed only when we receive both approvals and any payment due under section 5.

  • 3. We produce and deliver

    Production starts only after approval, and we deliver as the quote sets out.

3. Quantities and prices

  • Most products are packed and sold by the carton, with a minimum order and set order steps. Your quote confirms the exact quantities.
  • Prices are in South African rand, excluding VAT. VAT at 15% is added.
  • Prices shown in the store are a guide. The price on your accepted quote is the price you pay.
  • Branding, setup and delivery are priced on the quote.

4. Artwork and proofs

4.1 Sending artwork. You don't need to send logo files with a quote request. Once we confirm your quote, we arrange a secure way to receive your artwork.

4.2 Proof approval. We send a digital proof for your approval before anything is produced. Please check it carefully: we produce what you approve.

4.3 Your rights in the artwork. You confirm that you own, or are licensed to use, every logo, name and design you send us, and you indemnify Hello Brand against any claim that the merchandise infringes someone else's rights.

5. Payment

Nothing is charged on this website or in the store. When online payment opens, payments will be taken through the payment gateway of Social Wiiv, which runs our platform. Any deposit and the due dates are set out on your quote. Where a card payment is ever taken, it will be processed by a PCI-DSS certified payment processor, and Hello Brand will not store your card number.

6. Production and delivery

Lead times and delivery costs are on your quote. Delivery areas, when ownership and risk pass to you, and what happens if a delivery is late or refused are agreed in writing with your quote. We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as load-shedding, natural disasters or supplier and courier failures.

7. Returns, defects and cancellations

Returns, defective goods, and cancelling an order before or after production are agreed in writing before production starts. This does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other consumer protection law that applies to you.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for an order is limited as set out in section 10 of our website terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. Your information

We use the details in your quote request and order only to quote, produce, deliver and invoice, as our privacy notice explains. You can ask to see, correct or delete them through POPIA requests.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by South African law, and disputes are handled as section 14 of our website terms sets out. We may update these terms; the version in force when you accept a quote applies to that order.
